About me

Hello, my name is Zoe. I've been drawing since my childhood. After studying Art at uni I decided to take the road of sketches, meeting people, travelling and new experiences… I'm from Toulouse, a pretty and warm city in the South of France. My boyfriend is Korean so I decided to spend one year in Korea. There's a lot to do here: learning Korean, discovering Korean culture, and travelling to other cities. I will take photos, write, and do drawings to share all in this blog with you of course.

For a long time I've been very curious about Asian culture (like manga, animation, calligraphy, Asian art, Taichi, foods from Japan, China and Vietnamese, the game of Go, Korean dramas etc.) so I dreamt a lot about travelling to Asia, and here I am :)

Zoe's sketch of Korea is the idea to let my family and friends know about my new life abroad, to share my experience with everyone who visits this blog with curiosity, and to show my art work with Korean people. So in order to share them with all of you, this blog will be written in three languages; French, English and Korean. I'm not completely sure about translating every post, but I will do my best.

Behind this blog there are editors, my mom for the French part, and my boyfriend for the English part and Korean translation (my special thanks to both of them). Any help or correction will really be appreciated, especially for the English part since it's not our first language. And more importantly, there's you visiting my blog and reading my posts, so your impression and comments are more than welcome. I will do my best to answer them well, and don't hesitate to send me your ideas and suggestions (about places to visit, topics for articles or drawings…)
